Teams
The Wellington Sports Academy baseball program offers multiple teams, including Premier, Prospect, Varsity, JV, and Middle School, providing a comprehensive training environment for student-athletes at every stage of development. All teams compete in the ABA Conference, widely recognized as the nation’s premier high school baseball conference, and also play independent schedules, giving players opportunities to compete in high-level tournaments and events.
This structure ensures that athletes receive progressive development, from foundational skills at the Middle School and JV levels to elite competition and exposure at the Premier and Prospect levels. Student-athletes are consistently evaluated by college recruiters and professional scouts, creating a clear pathway to collegiate programs and professional opportunities while emphasizing both athletic and personal growth.

Premier
The Wellington Sports Academy’s Premier team competes within the ABA Conference, widely recognized as the top high school baseball conference in the country. This level features elite programs and top-tier talent, providing unmatched competition and exposure. Student-athletes are consistently evaluated by college recruiters and professional scouts throughout ABA Conference games and events. Many Premier players go on to commit to top Division I programs, with some earning MLB draft interest. Training mirrors elite collegiate programs, with a strong emphasis on advanced development and performance.
Post-graduate student-athletes may also compete on the Premier team, gaining additional exposure and development while competing at the highest level of the ABA Conference. -
Prospect
The Wellington Sports Academy offers multiple Prospect teams that compete within the ABA Conference, providing student-athletes with high-level development and consistent exposure. Prospect teams face strong conference opponents and participate in key ABA events designed to maximize recruiting opportunities. Players continue to build skills while gaining visibility in front of college coaches, preparing them for advancement to the Premier level.
Post-graduate student-athletes may also compete on Prospect teams, allowing them to continue their development and gain exposure within the ABA Conference. -
Varsity
The Wellington Sports Academy’s Varsity team competes within the ABA Conference, giving 9th and 10th grade student-athletes early exposure to one of the most competitive environments in high school baseball. This level focuses on development, experience, and preparation for advancement within the program. Players benefit from structured training, competitive conference play, and an introduction to the college recruiting process. -
JV
The Wellington Sports Academy’s JV team builds a strong developmental foundation while introducing players to the standards and expectations of the ABA Conference. Student-athletes receive high-level instruction and begin their progression within the program, preparing for future competition at higher levels. -
Middle School (Grades 6–8)
The Wellington Sports Academy’s Middle School team provides foundational skill development, game knowledge, and competitive experience for players in grades 6 through 8. Athletes are introduced to the standards and expectations of the ABA Conference, learning core fundamentals, strength and conditioning, and teamwork. This team prepares student-athletes for a seamless transition into the JV and Varsity levels, setting the stage for future success within the ABA Conference.
